About DEMT Fast Mechanics

What this platform is

DEMT Fast Mechanics is a mobile application and technology dispatch platform. It connects vehicle owners with independent mechanics and roadside service providers so customers can request vehicle service at a chosen location, and mechanics can receive, manage, and complete those jobs through the app.

DEMT provides the software used to request service, match available providers, communicate job details, present estimates, and process payments. Unless a specific offering is expressly identified in the app, DEMT does not itself perform automotive repair. Work is carried out by independent contractors who use the platform.

Who can use this app

The Platform is designed for two types of users, each with a distinct account:

• Customers. Vehicle owners or operators who want to request on-site or roadside service, keep vehicle records, review estimates, and pay for completed work in the app.
• Mechanics. Independent service providers who complete onboarding, present required documentation, set services they offer, accept jobs, send estimates, and receive payouts through the platform.

Users must be at least 18 years of age to register. An account is required to book or accept work. Availability of a mechanic for any given location, time, or service type is not guaranteed and depends on nearby providers, demand, and the details of the request.

What the app offers

Features shown in the application include the following. Some capabilities depend on account type, location permissions, payment setup, and whether a mechanic is available.

For customers

• Request vehicle services from categories offered in the app, including diagnostics and other listed maintenance or repair services.
• Book service for a saved vehicle at a selected address or map location, including home, work, or roadside locations you provide.
• Choose standard dispatch or designate a request as an emergency dispatch, which may include additional emergency or surge fees disclosed in the app.
• Track an active booking, receive arrival-oriented status updates, and review job activity while a request is in progress.
• Review itemized estimates covering labor, parts or materials, and platform fees before approving additional paid work where the app requires approval.
• Pay through in-app checkout. Payments, authorizations, and disbursements are processed by Stripe. Applicable US sales taxes are calculated at checkout based on local rules and the itemized breakdown.
• Store vehicles, saved addresses, and service history in the account, and receive transactional notifications when those features are enabled on the device.
• Leave a review after a job, contact support, and, where offered, purchase an in-app premium plan under the terms shown at checkout.

For mechanics

• Complete onboarding and provide documents requested by the platform before accepting jobs.
• Receive dispatched requests matched by location, availability, and service type, including prioritized matching for emergency requests.
• Manage accepted jobs, submit estimates, update job details, and record completion in the app.
• View earnings information and receive payouts through the platform's payment process, subject to successful collection, applicable fees, and payout rules shown to the mechanic.

Who it can benefit

The Platform is intended for people and providers who want vehicle service coordinated through a dispatch app rather than by visiting a shop:

• Vehicle owners who prefer a mechanic to come to a stated location for listed services, rather than arranging that work off-platform.
• Drivers who need roadside or time-sensitive help and are willing to request emergency dispatch, understanding that extra fees may apply and that a nearby mechanic may still be unavailable.
• Independent mechanics who want inbound job flow, on-job estimates, and in-app payment collection without operating a separate customer booking system.

Benefit depends on local mechanic coverage, the service requested, and each party completing the booking, estimate, and payment steps in the app. DEMT does not promise a particular repair outcome, response time, or availability in every geography.

How dispatch works, at a high level

A customer submits a request with vehicle, location, and service details. The Platform uses automated matching based on location, availability, and service type. The assigned mechanic may inspect the vehicle, send an estimate, and complete approved work. Location data may be used during an active booking to support routing and arrival updates. After matching, cancellation outside the designated grace window may result in a cancellation charge, as described in the Terms.

What this page does not claim

DEMT Fast Mechanics is a dispatch and payments platform. Mechanics on the Platform are independent contractors, not employees or direct agents of DEMT. The application is provided on an as-is, as-available basis. Nothing on this page is a warranty, a guarantee of service quality, or a promise that a mechanic will accept every request.
