This Policy describes how DEMT Fast Mechanics ("DEMT," "we," "us," or "our") handles that information when you use the DEMT mobile application or related platform services.

Information We Use

The Platform may process personal details associated with your account, location information, and transactional records created through bookings, payments, and related service activity. These categories of data are used to operate dispatch, complete payments, and support safety verification.

Consent Records

When you accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy in the app, we store a consent record for your account. That record includes the version you accepted, the date and time of acceptance, and the IP address associated with the request. We keep this information so we can demonstrate that informed consent was obtained.

Location Data

Location data is tracked during active booking lifecycles to enable route optimization and arrival updates. Location collection is tied to the period in which a booking is active and is used to support matching, routing, and status updates for that request.

How We Share Information

We share data only with authorized mechanics, Stripe payment processors, and legal authorities when required. Sharing with mechanics is limited to what is needed to fulfill an authorized booking. Payment information is processed by Stripe. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or lawful legal process.

Security

We implement industry-standard encryption to protect your information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and you should take care when sharing account credentials or other sensitive details.
